About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Research Associate I and contribute to biomedical research projects in collaboration with physicians and scientists. You will support data collection, processing, analysis, and the preparation of scientific reports and presentations.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate research projects by collecting, recording, and evaluating data from participants and electronic health records.
  • Process images, assist with specimen handling, and support grant writing and manuscript preparation.
  • Present research plans and findings to team members and stay current with scientific literature.

Required profile

  • Basic knowledge of biomedical research processes.
  • Ability to learn project management, time management, and medical writing skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Basic analytical skills for data interpretation and presentation.
