Research and Planning Manager – Partnership Tax

About the role

As a Research and Planning Manager within PwC’s Internal Partnership Tax Team, you will lead the delivery of tax planning and compliance services for partnership clients. You will guide businesses through complex local and international tax regulations, helping them optimise their tax positions while ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax planning and compliance initiatives for partnership tax clients.
• Oversee preparation and review of partnership tax returns and related documentation.
• Provide strategic tax consulting to optimise client tax positions.
• Analyse complex tax regulations and assess their impact on client operations.
• Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their technical skills and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address tax‑related issues and identify opportunities.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables to meet client expectations.
• Leverage technology and innovative tools to improve tax service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in tax consulting or related field.
• Professional credential such as CPA, Bar member, or other tax/finance qualification (preferred).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
