Remote Estimator – Unitized Curtain Wall

About the role

The company, a global leader in façade engineering, is seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to join its Preconstruction and Estimating team. This remote position focuses on developing accurate cost estimates for unitized curtain wall and glazing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed material takeoffs and quantity surveys under senior guidance.
• Review architectural, structural, and engineering documents to define project scope and pricing.
• Analyze schedules, mock‑ups, testing, procurement, and installation sequencing.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering material, labor, equipment, transportation, tax, and subcontractors.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for compliance.
• Coordinate bid communications, prepare bid proposals, pricing breakdowns, and final bid packages.
• Support senior estimators with pricing, budgeting, and proposal development using Bluebeam, Excel, and other tools.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of estimating, sales, or pre‑construction experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals.
• College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred.
