Remote Appointment Setter (1099) – Business Coaching

About the role

We are seeking a remote Appointment Setter to join a fast‑growing business coaching firm that serves HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. This 1099 sales development role focuses on engaging warm, opt‑in leads who have expressed interest in the company’s coaching programs and scheduling qualified appointments for the closing team.

Key responsibilities

• Use an auto‑dialer to contact warm, opt‑in prospects during Pacific Standard Time business hours.
• Qualify business owners using established discovery criteria before booking appointments.
• Build rapport, handle objections, and maintain high show rates.
• Schedule qualified prospects onto the closing team’s calendars.
• Track and meet KPI targets such as call volume, contact rate, show rate, and appointments booked.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in appointment setting, SDR, inside sales, or outbound business development.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to quickly establish credibility.
• Proven ability to handle objections and sustain high call volumes.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Availability to work Pacific Standard Time business hours.
