About the role

This position provides direct patient care on the Short Stay Cardiac Unit at Jefferson Highway. The RN leads the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures high‑quality outcomes while embracing cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients, families, and staff on cardiac care and recovery needs.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
