Registered Nurse – Physician Practices

About the role

Provide patient care in physician office settings, including examinations, medication administration, wound care, and procedure assistance. Coordinate care across the continuum and educate patients on prescriptions and clinical concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate care coordination, ensuring labs, studies, and referrals are completed and results discussed with patients.
• Perform patient care and procedures using sound clinical judgment and approved protocols.
• Maintain instrument sterility, manage supplies, and document daily activities per accrediting standards.
• Assess patient readiness, deliver education, and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Triages calls, provides health advice, and participates in multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Excellent time management, adaptability to change, and computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, managed‑care plans, and referral coordination.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.

Required skills

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Microsoft Excel and word processing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
