Registered Nurse – Pediatric Home Health (West Texas)

About the role

PALS Home Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in‑home private‑duty care for medically complex children aged 0‑20 in the West Texas area. The position can be full‑time or PRN, with assignments focused on long‑term family placements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services including medication administration as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor health, safety, and potential abuse or neglect situations, following reporting guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic charting (KanTime) after each shift.
• Manage medical supplies and respond to parents’ health‑related questions.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license (or LVN/LPN where applicable).
• Reliable attendance and ability to work weekends or night shifts as needed.
• Commitment to PALS’ mission and values, and ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Required skills

• Electronic charting using KanTime.
• Medication administration and basic medical supply management.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
