Registered Nurse – Night Shift

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Nursing Float Pool at Lehigh Valley Hospital‑Cedar Crest. This night‑shift position provides professional nursing care, coordinating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, providing education throughout the treatment course.
• Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
• Perform validated technical skills specific to the clinical specialty and unit.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver patient care safely.
• Successful completion of unit‑specific orientation and competency assessments.
• Basic computer proficiency and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
