About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse on the night shift, providing professional nursing care in a Magnet® Hospital recognized for nursing excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Utilize evidence‑based practice to ensure quality and safety, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course and support smooth transitions of care.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current knowledge of nursing practice.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments and maintain unit‑specific competencies.
- Successful completion of orientation programs related to the specialty.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (Pennsylvania state).
