About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients with movement disorders. The RN will lead patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support the unit’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

Effectively uses the nursing process to deliver patient care for movement disorder patients.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support certification.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Good organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
