About the role

The Registered Nurse Med‑Tele Stepdown provides patient care using the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN leads the nursing team, ensures quality outcomes, and supports a diverse, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage resources.
Apply data and knowledge to promote change and achieve optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior experience required.

Required skills

Computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and related software.
Effective verbal and written communication.
