Registered Nurse

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for designated patients while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care according to facility policies and ANA standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and the care team to resolve patient needs.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice, quality improvement and research projects.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
• Teach and mentor new colleagues, interns and precept as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license for the State of Pennsylvania (upon hire).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and maintain clinical competency.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
