Registered Nurse – In‑House Agency – Operating Room (St. Mary)

About the role

This 12‑week assignment is for a Registered Nurse working in the In‑House Agency of the Operating Room at St. Mary. The RN will deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, and support the organization’s nursing philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients, families, and other disciplines, adapting explanations to diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
