Registered Nurse III (PRN) – Mobile Clinic – Crockett, TX

About the role

The Texas A&M University Health Science Center seeks a Registered Nurse III (PRN) to join its Mobile Clinic program in East Texas. This part‑time position provides comprehensive nursing services to students, faculty, staff, community members and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, conduct evaluations and administer treatments in accordance with professional nursing standards.
• Operate and maintain the Mobile Clinic, including inventory management and requisition of medical supplies, medications and equipment.
• Document patient encounters and update records using the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care and adherence to clinic protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow infection‑control and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Associate degree in Nursing (or equivalent education/experience).
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Willingness to receive required immunizations (excluding COVID‑19 and flu).

Required skills

• Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably eCW.
• Proficiency in using EMR platforms for patient documentation.
• Basic competency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
