About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on a 12‑hour night shift. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
• Teach and mentor new colleagues and interns, and delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and patient acuity.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Successful completion of orientation programs and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver safe patient care in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (required upon hire).
