Registered Nurse – Community Health Clinic

About the role

The Registered Nurse will lead patient care in the Community Health Clinic, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards and the Scope & Standards of Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and evidence to evaluate and promote changes that achieve optimal outcomes.
• Embraces concepts that enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale and professional nursing practice.
• Adapts behavior to respect patient privacy, cultural diversity and individual communication preferences.
• Maintains knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and ensures compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
