About the role

The Block RN provides leadership in patient care on the unit, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and staff.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while managing resources.
Use data and evidence‑based practice to drive change and improve outcomes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment, and manage time effectively.
