About the role

The Registered Nurse provides acute neuro care during night shifts, leading patient care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The role involves delegating, directing, and assisting team members while ensuring quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Effective verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Clinical knowledge in acute neuro nursing.
