Registered Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dental Practice

About the role

Join a rapidly growing pediatric dental office dedicated to providing exceptional care for children, toddlers, and teens. As a Registered Dental Assistant you will support dental procedures, ensure a safe environment, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments, set up trays, and maintain dental equipment including sterilizers and x‑ray units.
• Assist during procedures, pour models, perform lab tasks, and document exam findings in patient records.
• Instruct patients and guardians on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked operatory and laboratory.

Required profile

• Licensed Registered Dental Assistant with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must love working with children and have an upbeat personality.
• Available to work two Saturdays per month.
• Bi‑lingual Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental terminology, materials, and instruments.
• Experience operating x‑ray equipment and maintaining sterilization protocols.
• Strong computer and communication skills for charting and patient education.
