Regional Security Operations Manager

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring an Enterprise Client Security Operations Manager in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The manager acts as the primary client contact for client facilities across the region, handles day-to-day operations, resolves operational issues proactively, maintains ongoing client contact and provides after-hours emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance physical security posture at client facilities and identify and report security threats in high-risk areas, recommending risk mitigation actions to client security leadership.
• De-escalate and report incidents of unwanted interactions while providing security support services.
• Ensure emergency response plans are in place, and coordinate their auditing and exercises.
• Liaise with law enforcement, first responders and security to build a comprehensive security framework.
• Support security logistics for executive meetings and high-profile guests as required.
• Make immediate decisions during alarms, fire or panic calls to protect people and property, and respond directly to potential hostile actors.
• Manage emergency responses, including security and medical operations as needed.
• Conduct threat vulnerability assessments and brief corporate security leadership and stakeholders.
• Collect evidence after incidents and communicate regularly with client security leadership to solve their needs.

Required profile

• A Louisiana-issued security license (guard certification).
• Either a bachelor's or associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management or a related field, or a high school diploma with extensive law enforcement experience.
• At least 10 years of law enforcement experience, or 5 years of senior leadership experience in government, law enforcement or the military.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision, handle crises calmly, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Excellent leadership, judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
• Strong oral and written communication and computer skills.
• Bonus: Law enforcement or special operations experience, and certifications such as PSD, CPP or EPS.
