Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager leads sales and marketing activities for Gerdau in the assigned region, driving volume, pricing and profit objectives while managing a team of sales representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing program to meet short‑ and long‑term volume, pricing and profit goals.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for approval and monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Direct and develop Sales Representatives, providing training, coaching and performance management.
• Maintain major account relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure timely response to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Credit Manager on creditworthiness assessments and recommend credit strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience with a proven record of increasing sales volume.
• Supervisory experience preferred; exposure to the steel industry strongly preferred.
