About the role
The Regional Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of properties in the Austin region, driving operational performance, financial results and tenant satisfaction. This role reports to senior leadership and collaborates with local teams to implement Greystar’s standards and initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the portfolio and individual communities meet operational, financial and business performance goals.
- Collaborate with community managers and regional support services to improve asset and team performance.
- Implement local and national operational initiatives and champion change across properties.
- Manage budgets, prepare and present regular performance and financial reports.
- Foster positive tenant relationships, implement retention programs and address concerns promptly.
- Work with leasing teams on marketing strategies to achieve optimal occupancy.
- Oversee maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Conduct market research to identify improvement opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing diverse properties.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations and market trends.
- Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, Real Page).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) and database management.
- Real estate license (preferred) and industry certifications (CPM, CAPS, CAM).
