Red Team Software Developer

About the role

Parsons is seeking talented Mid‑Level and Senior Red Team Software Developers to strengthen its Federal Solutions team. The role focuses on building advanced offensive cyber capabilities to protect the nation’s critical systems while working in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop penetration testing and red‑team tools, including reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and exploit development.
• Create scripts and capabilities that directly support active red‑team operations.
• Collaborate with the operations team to design long‑term capabilities aligned with mission objectives.
• Integrate and extend Command‑and‑Control frameworks such as Cobalt Strike to enhance operator effectiveness.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance and ability to pass the Red Team Developer aptitude test.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
• Mid‑Level: 5+ years combined education/experience in software development, systems engineering, or cyber operations; Senior: 10+ years with at least 3 years of C/C++/C# development for Windows offensive tools.
