About the role

We are seeking a Reasonable Accommodations Specialist to support a federal agency in handling accommodation requests from employees and applicants with disabilities. You will lead the interactive process, ensure compliance with federal laws, and help foster an inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

Receive, assess, and track reasonable accommodation requests.
Manage the full interactive process with employees, HR, managers, and medical providers.
Review documentation and recommend appropriate accommodations.
Draft determination letters and maintain secure records.
Provide training and guidance on accommodation policies and disability law.
Prepare reports and track key metrics for internal and external use.

Required profile

3+ years' experience handling reasonable accommodations in a federal or similar setting.
Knowledge of Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act, ADA, and EEOC regulations.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Public Administration, Disability Studies, or a related field.
