Real Estate Contract Specialist – Remote (US)

About the role

The Real Estate Contract Specialist (RES) at Cartus manages the third‑party sale process from contract receipt through closing. This remote position supports customers across all 50 states, ensuring compliance with Cartus policies and mitigating financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts/offers, interpret legal obligations, and assess financial risk.
• Communicate red‑flag terms to RES/CSC and work with legal counsel when needed.
• Obtain required documents (Cartus, IRS, client) to meet policy compliance.
• Act as liaison among agents, RES/CSC, and customers for contract ratification and execution.
• Monitor buyer contingencies, negotiate removals, and recommend negotiation strategies.
• Use ATLAS, Home Sale, and HEM systems for data management and update referral revenue forecasts.
• Work to revive potential “fall‑through” sales to keep homes out of corporate inventory.

Required profile

• Prior relocation experience.
• Real‑estate or related field experience preferred.
• Strong customer‑service background with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organizational, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ATLAS, Home Sale, and HEM real‑estate systems.
• Ability to read and interpret contract terms across all 50 states.
