Maintenance Technician – Kendry Addition

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position requires weekend availability and involves both routine maintenance and responsive repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, track usage, and reorder as needed.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience with basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA Type I, II, or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
