Rapid Response Respiratory Therapist – Full‑Time – Days or Nights

This position provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in‑patients and out‑patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.

Key responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in‑patients and out‑patients of all ages.
• Monitors and weans patients from oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation, draws and analyzes arterial blood gases, and performs EKGs.
• Assists with changing artificial airways and delivers intermittent therapy as ordered by physicians.
• Documents clinical information, educates patients and co‑workers on procedures, and participates in staff meetings.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree required.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist and certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Required skills

• Computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and keyboard use.
