Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction, is hiring a per diem Radiologic Technologist. The technologist uses ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, tomographic and portable procedures, applies knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to deliver quality images for interpretation, works in a team to support workflow and performs other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program; two years of college preferred.
• ARRT certification and Florida Radiological Technologist licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods, and to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to twist, bend, lift, assist and transport patients by wheelchair and stretcher.
• Ability to perform CPR and patient assessment.
• Completion of annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, including new employee orientation and TB/PPD surveillance.
