Radiologic Technologist – Inpatient Nights (3x12)

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist provides inpatient diagnostic imaging during night shifts, working 3 twelve‑hour rotations. The role involves performing radiographic procedures safely, ensuring image quality, and serving as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders, operate imaging equipment, and ensure procedures follow protocol, including placement of tubes and administration of contrast.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, complete quality‑control tasks, and transmit images using radiology information systems.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain consent, and adapt communication to diverse patient populations.
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration (or eligibility) within 90 days of hire and a current state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work flexible night schedules and travel between facilities as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radiology information systems and digital imaging equipment.
• Strong computer and software application skills for data entry and image management.
