Radiologic Technologist – Inpatient (Mon‑Thu, 12‑10:30pm)

About the role

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people. This position assesses patients and safely performs routine radiographic procedures in an inpatient setting, serving as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates radiographic equipment and may place nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administer contrast.
• Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assists with departmental operations such as inventory, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance.
• Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and communication preferences.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Current unrestricted state license in the state of practice.
• ARRT registration or eligibility within 90 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Ability to operate radiology information systems.
• Competence in operating radiographic imaging equipment.
