Radiologic Technologist – Dual Role RT/MA at Urgent Care

About the role

This position provides individualized health‑care services to patients of various ages and backgrounds in an urgent‑care setting. The technologist will support physicians throughout the patient visit, perform routine radiographic procedures safely, and act as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures, and answer questions.
• Operate radiology equipment and radiology information systems to acquire diagnostic‑quality images, including placement of tubes, IVs, and administration of contrast.
• Review images before transmission to ensure they meet quality standards and perform timely quality‑control checks.
• Document medical information in company data systems and support departmental operations such as inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Mentor junior staff and students, and adapt communication style to respect patient privacy and cultural needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration and state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; prior health‑care experience is preferred.

• Image quality assessment and quality‑control procedures.
• Computer proficiency with software and web‑based applications.
