Quality Supervisor (A320)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead operational quality activities on the Single Aisle Flowline for A320 family aircraft at its Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. You will manage a team of Lead Inspectors, ensure compliance with Airbus quality standards and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Flowline Quality Line Side Inspection Team, ensuring personnel meet Level 3 qualification and competency requirements.
• Manage non‑conformities from creation to closure, prioritize Andon alerts, and act as the focal point for customer presentations and interactions.
• Conduct risk analysis, launch corrective actions for quality escapes, and serve as the focal point for external EASA audits.
• Implement EASA‑POA regulatory requirements, support sustainable improvement projects, and lead process standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation manufacturing experience and at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes, especially structure/mechanical/paint tasks, and health‑safety/environmental regulations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a multinational team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GSuite, Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Experience with Airbus quality systems (AOS, QPS Brick) and POA inspection standards.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations and non‑conformity management.
