Quality Engineer

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring a Quality Engineer for its Anderson, SC office. The role acts as the link between the company and all functions dealing with quality assurance and control issues.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Quality Organization on new product development projects
• Champion continuous improvement of processes and products
• Analyze return goods data and trends and support Return Goods Technicians
• Support supplier quality across supplier interactions, including new parts and assemblies, improvements to existing ones and corrective actions
• Take part in developing policies, objectives and goals
• Handle returns analysis, continual improvement, supplier interface and customer complaints
• Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
• Develop inspection instructions, design and procure inspection equipment, and run system audits
• Gather data, write reports and hold continuous improvement meetings

Required profile

• 3 years as a quality professional with progressive responsibilities
• BS or BA preferred; associates and experience in a technical role considered

Required skills

• Knowledge of current QMS such as ISO 9001:2015
