Public Relations Communication Administrator

About the role

The Public Relations Communication Administrator serves as the primary contact for plant tours and community engagement, coordinating visits, delivering presentations, and supporting social responsibility initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate plant tours, ensuring minimal impact on operations and visitor safety.
• Act as tour guide, presenting department-specific information and managing PPE requirements.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations aligned with Gerdau branding.
• Manage visitor logistics, including room reservations, transportation, and visitor gate passes.
• Coordinate social responsibility meetings, maintain meeting notes, and serve as liaison for community groups.
• Attend and support community events, handling information requests and managing swag inventory.
• Assist leadership with large‑scale third‑party visits and special events.
• Manage budget spend related to public relations and social responsibility activities.
