Public Relations Communication Admin

About the role

The Public Relations Communication Admin serves as the primary contact and coordinator for plant tours and community involvement, representing Gerdau’s social responsibility initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule plant tours, act as liaison between mill leadership and visitors, and conduct guided tours ensuring safety.
• Develop and deliver professional presentations aligned with Gerdau branding for various visitor groups.
• Manage visitor logistics including PPE, transportation, room reservations, and swag inventory.
• Serve as the main point of contact for social responsibility initiatives, organizing meetings, handling inquiries, and coordinating community events.
• Assist leadership with large‑scale third‑party visits and manage related budget spend.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced, changing environment and reliable attendance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
