Pro‑Shop Assistant

About the role

The Pro‑Shop Assistant works in the Pro‑Shop of Crossing Creeks Country Club, greeting members and guests, handling tee‑time reservations, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining inventory and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, set tee times and check members/guests into the system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, balance the register and process membership account charges.
• Restock merchandise, snacks, and beverages; maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Verify age and identification for alcohol purchases and cart rentals, ensure liability waivers are signed.
• Assist with golf simulator operation, range ball dispenser, and promote club events, lessons, and merchandise.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently and adapt to changing demands.
• Flexibility to meet scheduling needs and willingness to work unsupervised.
• Integrity, responsibility and a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Valid TABC/Food Handling license and ability to meet age‑verification requirements.
