Promotions Manager

About the role

iHeartMedia Markets is hiring a Promotions Manager in New York to manage the promotion and direction of advertising and marketing activities and campaigns, and to improve the company's product image, market data and information. The role covers on-site promotions, events, remotes and street team activities, and involves working closely with clients, sellers and the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage advertising and marketing campaigns and improve product image and market data
• Work with several departments to create and run promotions such as remotes, events, van hits and street team activities
• Attend client meetings with sellers and the sales manager to plan events and logistics
• Research program and campaign effectiveness and report results to management
• Advise markets and stations on marketing and drive promotional vehicles
• Perform basic office administration and update the station website
• Run on-site promotions, handle clients and listeners, and set up and operate audio and other equipment
• Hang banners and stage elements, and record photos, videos, audio and social media measures for studio promotions
• Set up, break down and transport promotion equipment
• Prepare contest rules, waivers and release forms, supervise prize inventory and award prizes
• Oversee on-site appearances, remotes and events, and ensure prize fulfillment and release forms

Required profile

• Previous experience in outdoor promotions and/or marketing and/or customer service
• Four-year college degree (Communications, Advertising and Marketing) or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move 40-pound objects
• Valid state driver's license, proof of insurability and an excellent driving record

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, Photoshop and social media platforms
• Project management, organization and time management
• Good business writing, listening and interpersonal skills
