Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of utility‑scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery storage, wind, and hybrid facilities. The role oversees projects from development through commercial operation, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across construction, engineering, safety, quality, environmental, procurement, project controls, and commissioning.
• Manage EPC, engineering, supply, construction and service agreements, including contract compliance, change orders and claims.
• Own schedule performance, conduct critical path analysis, milestone tracking and recovery planning.
• Control project financials: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, earned value and cost‑to‑complete analysis.
• Produce regular project reporting, KPI dashboards and executive updates.
• Drive quality management activities, inspections, non‑conformance resolution and lessons learned.
• Serve as primary interface with utilities, transmission providers, contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Champion safety culture and monitor TRIR, LTIR and environmental objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing utility‑scale renewable energy, power generation or heavy industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Strong experience in project financial management and contract administration.
• Ability to travel 25%–50% domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Autodesk platforms.
• PMP and OSHA 30‑Hour certifications (preferred).

• Base salary $115,000‑$135,000 per year plus 10% annual performance bonus.
