Project Manager - Fuel Injection

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the industrialization of a new 500 Bar fuel injector generation, turning engineering designs into production reality. This role spans CAPEX planning, equipment procurement, plant integration and series production launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines, lead cross‑functional teams and track progress through design, validation, PPAP and series launch phases.
• Manage capital budget together with the capital coordinator, ensuring expenditures stay within limits and schedule.
• Achieve cost, quality and timeline targets for a successful production launch while mitigating risks.
• Coordinate with international engineering, plant leadership and executive management following Bosch Project Management processes and automotive standards (IATF 16949/AIAG).
• Maintain required documentation and clear communication across all interfaces.

Required profile

• BS in a technical field (mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering).
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• 2+ years experience managing customer or relocation projects.
• Proven ability to lead direct and indirect teams in a cross‑functional, international setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % to the German lead plant and vendor locations.
