Project Manager (AV, Lighting, Shading, Control)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Project Manager to lead AV, lighting, shading and control installations on construction sites around Scottsdale. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, trades, architects and our internal team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects and vendors.
• Interpret and mark‑up plans, create and distribute engineering documents for new construction.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, align resources, and monitor profitability.
• Issue work orders, coordinate with third‑party trades, and manage change orders from creation to payment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets scope, plans and client expectations.
• Maintain situational awareness on construction sites and enforce safety protocols.

Required profile

• 3+ years of on‑site project management experience in AV/LV construction.
• Hands‑on, technically curious, and comfortable working in the field rather than a desk.
• Strong understanding of the built environment and all three implementation phases (rough, trim, final).
• Steady work history, pleasant disposition, high emotional intelligence.

What we offer

• $80,000 base salary plus 0.5% of project revenue (estimated total compensation up to $100,000).

• Full‑time schedule (40 hrs/week) with no hour reductions.
