Project Leader - Decision Analytics Test & Learn

About the role

The Decision Analytics Test & Learn team evaluates pilot performance and delivers data-driven insights that help advance and scale the company's strategic objectives. This Project Leader role, which succeeds the Senior Analyst position, covers developing analytics, turning business questions into actionable solutions, designing new tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end project portfolios. It supports initiatives across Pro, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project planning and timeline management, with overall responsibility for ensuring development results meet business needs
• Coordinate staff and senior analysts on business process evaluation, procedure development, system process flows, QA planning and testing, implementation planning, documentation, user training and production support
• Ensure communication and integration across departments, systems and platforms
• Select, develop and motivate assigned staff; typically reports to a Systems Manager or Finance Manager and may manage up to thirteen salaried employees, including seven supervisors

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA or Master's in Analytics, Finance or Information Systems preferred
• 2 years of experience preferred; project management experience and a track record of delivering large, complex projects helpful
• Experience in corporate finance, retail or analytics preferred

Required skills

• SQL, Tableau and similar tools (3+ years preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills
