Project Engineer – Shippingport, PA

About the role

Holder Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Operations team on a new project in Shippingport, PA. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work with a nationally recognized contractor and contribute to the successful delivery of complex construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on‑site trades, ensuring timely execution of work.
• Oversee material design, fabrication, delivery, and installation.
• Interact daily with field supervision to resolve cost and design issues, including change orders, RFIs, and document updates.
• Read and interpret construction design documents and specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Manage overall trade coordination and provide exposure to BIM processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field, or at least 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools and a collaborative work style.
• Willingness to relocate if needed.
