Project Director (Oncology)

About the role

Allucent helps small-to-medium biopharmaceutical companies navigate clinical trials so they can bring therapies to patients worldwide. It is looking for a Project Director (PD) to join its A-team, working office-based or remotely. The PD oversees operational project teams, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of processes within the Global Clinical Operations (GCO) department, controlling and monitoring the quality and full-service delivery of clinical trial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the project and be responsible for the overall quality and management of delivered clinical trial projects and programs, including budget oversight, proposal content and costing review, and balancing competing priorities.
• Serve as the key contact for assigned clients on delivery of scope, customer satisfaction and assessment of client needs.
• Lead the project team and support the recruitment and interviewing of new employees.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in life science, healthcare and/or business; Master's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, specifically in drug development and/or clinical research; CRA experience preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, specifically as a clinical project manager managing global clinical trials.
• At least 5 years of clinical project management experience.
• Therapeutic expertise in Oncology required.
• In some cases, an equivalency of education, training and/or related experience may be considered.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ICH-GCP(R3), data and patient privacy practices and applicable local regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial acumen, administrative excellence and analytical skills.
