Program Security Officer (PSO)

About the role

Stratos Solutions is seeking a Program Security Officer to support classified Intelligence Community and DoD programs in Chantilly, VA. The PSO will ensure compliance with national security policies and protect mission‑critical information and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret, implement, and administer personnel security policies, manage access requests, and conduct security briefings.
• Perform classification reviews, maintain classified material control records, and ensure proper handling, marking, and destruction procedures.
• Support physical security requirements, assemble TEMPEST, AIS, and Inspectable Space Determination packages, and maintain related accreditation documentation.
• Administer OPSEC processes, develop mitigation plans, and coordinate with program leadership.
• Interface with Government PSO, support inspections, assessments, and ensure alignment with ICDs, DoDMs, and NISPOM.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Business, or related field (experience may substitute).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience supporting IC or DoD program security operations and maintaining personnel security records.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IC and DoD security policies and directives.
• Experience with TEMPEST, Automated Information System (AIS) security packages, and Inspectable Space Determinations.
• Familiarity with SCIF accreditation, Co‑Utilization Agreements, and OPSEC program administration.
• Proficiency using security management systems and access databases.
