Program Security Officer 3

About the role

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Program Security Officer 3 to provide security advice, classification management, and risk‑managed recommendations for government intelligence programs. This full‑time onsite position is based in Chantilly, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance on security issues to government and program security officers across multiple locations.
• Manage classification, program security, information systems security, personnel security, and physical security for customers and industry partners.
• Conduct briefings and indoctrinations for diverse audiences and deliver recommendations to directors and program managers.
• Assist in developing security policies and implementation procedures, including travel up to 25% domestic and OCONUS.

Required profile

• HS Diploma with 12+ years of relevant security experience, or higher education with fewer years as specified.
• Ability to handle high‑level, complex, or sensitive security issues with discretion.
• Experience providing risk‑managed security recommendations and familiarity with FOIA, pre‑publication reviews, ICD 503, and ICD 705.

Required skills

• Classification management and control.
• Program security and risk management principles.
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives, NRO Directives, and NISPOM.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
