Program Manager, Variable Cost Productivity

About the role

Dematic is looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to lead cost optimization initiatives for its Modular Conveyor Systems portfolio. The role focuses on delivering sustainable year‑over‑year productivity improvements and financial savings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Cost Engineering programs to meet annual cost‑reduction and productivity targets.
• Own the Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) scorecard, updating and presenting it to executive leadership.
• Build and manage a pipeline of cost‑engineering projects to support savings objectives through 2026 and beyond.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams globally to execute prioritized cost‑reduction projects.
• Establish governance processes for project identification, execution, savings validation, and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, value engineering, or cost optimization.
• Proven ability to collaborate across domestic and international organizations.
• Experience developing business cases, financial analyses, and ROI evaluations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience; PMP certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work in a hybrid model (50% onsite).

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Dashboard development and data‑visualisation expertise.
• Performance‑analytics capabilities for decision support.
• Knowledge of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies.
• Project‑management competencies (PMP or equivalent).
