Production Worker – Siding, Roofing & Framing

About the role

Champion Home Builders is looking for energetic Production Workers to join its Athens, TX plant. You will work on manufactured housing projects, handling exterior siding, roof decking, roofing, and wall framing tasks in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install exterior siding, windows and doors, and handle miscellaneous siding materials.
• Perform roof decking duties such as blowing insulation, installing OSB decking, and building dormers.
• Install shingle or metal roofing systems.
• Frame and set exterior walls for manufactured homes.
• Read tape measures, operate nail and screw power tools, and lift/transport materials as required.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• ‘Can‑do’ attitude with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Basic construction background and ability to perform physical tasks (standing, walking, climbing, stooping, lifting up to 50 lb regularly and occasional loads over 100 lb).
