About the role

The Production Shift Manager will have full accountability for the shift manufacturing operation, supervising production associates and coordinating with QC and Maintenance teams. This role focuses on both operational supervision and tactical project leadership to meet business objectives while prioritising safety.

Key responsibilities

Supervise daily production tasks and ensure shift performance meets targets.
Develop action plans, lead continuous‑improvement projects and drive lean initiatives.
Maintain staffing levels, equipment safety, and compliance with safety policies.
Ensure production schedules satisfy customer requirements and that all personnel training is up‑to‑date.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment and 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to create an empowering environment where team members feel valued.

Required skills

Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, SPC, RCA, PDCA.
Strong computer skills.
