Production Operator

About the role

Voyager Technologies is seeking Production Operators for its GOEX black‑powder manufacturing plant in Minden, Louisiana. The role involves hands‑on production work in a high‑safety environment where explosives are handled daily.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and tend production machines, weigh and move raw materials, and prepare packaging.
• Package finished products and accurately record production data, batch information, and material usage.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and waste within the facility.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, PPE requirements, spill response, and chemical handling protocols.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and perform routine inspections, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand English and perform basic math.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass pre‑employment screening.
