Service Technician

About the role

Mills Auto Group is seeking a certified Service Technician to join its Classic Ford dealership in Shelby, NC. You will work in a clean, temperature‑controlled environment, providing high‑quality automotive service to customers across the Carolinas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders, following dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Broad knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
